Scope

  • A new pedestrian crossing facility at the San Luis Land Port of Entry on the Arizona - Mexico border.

Services:

  • Needs assessment and program of requirements development; ROM budget estimating to back scope into existing funding; Site assessment with ground penetrating radar and site survey contracts.

  • Procurement of 2-phase, stipend-supported, design-build and construction management contracts; Development of all scopes of work & proposal evaluation criteria; Facilitation of proposal reviews.

  • Facilitation of all design deliverable reviews with client, project stakeholders, and subject matter experts; Detailed architectural reviews; owner’s rep to contractor, designer, and construction management; Review of all construction reports, requests for information (RFI), submittals, and change order requests.

  • Management of all deliverables, pay-requests, budget and schedule control, and close-out.

  • Services provided as a senior project manager with the US General Services Administration.

Results:

  • On-schedule and under-budget delivery, during extremely hot regional construction market, in a remote location.

  • Award winning design inspired by adjacent agricultural fields allows ample natural light and efficient use of mechanical space.
